Last August 29- 30, we had our Intramurals. Each year level showed their skills in sports to win over the other year levels. Us, students were separated into four teams based on our year level. Grade 7 as Green Tamaraws, Grade 8 as Yellow Cardinals (I'm included here), 3rd Years as Red Lions and the 4th Years as Blue Falcons.
On the first day of intrams, the main highlight is the Mr. and Ms. Physique and the Mass Dance/ Demo. Since I don't have any sport, I joined the Mass Dance. All of us performed to the best we can since it is what they call "time to shine." Then after that, the different competitions in sports started. My friends and I watched the Basketball Girls and Basketball Boys. This just shows that if boys can, girls can. Then we watched the Volleyball Boys and also Volleyball Girls and even though the sun shines so bright, we didn't care as long as we can cheer and support our players.
The finals occurred on the second day. On this day, we will also know the result of the games and the mass dance. All of us were very nervous. Yellow Cardinals were very competitive even though our opponents are bigger and stronger than us.
In the end, Yellow Cardinals placed Second place in the mass dance and that's not bad! Many of our players got the gold medals especially the table tennis team. Over all, Yellow Cardinals got the 2nd place. Blue Falcons got the 1st place, yes, they're very great. Red Lions got the 3rd place and the Green Tamaraws got the 4th place.
Intrams is also the time were being a sportsman, being cooperative and being honest are being developed.
